Not at all! You don't need to break the bank to take beautiful pet portraits. The variety of techniques that are demonstrated in this class can be achieved with a basic DSLR camera or an advanced compact camera (the ability to set shutter speed and aperture would be desirable). You'll be impressed by the results!

Even an entry level digital camera or your phone will get you pretty great results!
